The ST01 A U7 consists of a robust construction with a ceramic cover plate, a fixed silver contact, a movable contact, a cross-shaped spring washer and a conductive housing.
STRUCTURE AND FUNCTION
The bimetallic disk is deformed by heat when the nominal operating temperature is reached, which interrupts the circuit. After cooling down and reaching the defined reset temperature, the bimetallic disk and the spring washer return to their initial position. This closes the moving contact and the fixed silver contact again and the circuit is restored.
