It consists of sealing material, fusible alloy, heating resistor and flux. As a secondary protective measure in charging and discharging circuits, the HCO detects overcurrent or overcharging and disconnects the circuit if necessary. If the current exceeds a certain threshold, the fusible alloy melts and interrupts the protective circuit. This double protection mechanism ensures reliable protection.
